NEW SEASON - orla kiely mugs

more big news for orla kiely fans - there are six brand new mug designs available online now from illustrated living. the two fabulous flower designs above have gone straight onto my wish list.
ps: remember the ceramics i photographed in the heal's preview a few weeks ago. it seems they will not only be available in heal's but will be with other stockists too (including john lewis) so hopefully can be picked up by international readers as well as those of us in the uk. here are my pics and here is a post from the ideal home magazine blog with some more info.

BOOKS - dwell studio

i recently bought myself several childrens books by the fabulous dwell studio (famous for their contemporary nursery bedlinen) just so that i could admire their clean and simple graphic illustrations. there are lots of titles to choose from and they should appeal to illustration fans as well as parents. see all the titles in the series here on amazon uk or amazon usa, or to see more from the lovely dwell studio and their great products see here

PAPERCHASE/HEAL'S - donna wilson

earlier this month i went to two press shows, one at paperchase and one at heals, and there was one designer's name that came up at both of them - donna wilson. paperchase will be stocking donna's meg & mog dolls and plates as part of their autumn winter collection.
just up the road at heal's press show was a lovely selection of donna's ceramic and textile products, including owl shaped cushions and a special heal's cat inspired by their 1920's mascot.
